Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT), Narsapur<\/strong>, witnessed vibrant participation from researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students from across India and 18 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">A major highlight of the day was the outreach programme conducted under\u00a0<strong>IEEE SIGHT (Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>IEEE COPE (Committee on Promoting Equality)<\/strong>, led by\u00a0<strong>Dr. Vedula Sameer Chakravarthy<\/strong>\u00a0of Vignan Institute of Information Technology, Visakhapatnam,\u00a0<strong>Dr. Jayasree Das<\/strong>\u00a0of BVRIT, and\u00a0<strong>Dr. Satish Rama Chowdary<\/strong>. The initiative was specially designed to ignite scientific curiosity among school students and encourage them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and innovation while fostering a sense of social responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Through engaging presentations and interactive demonstrations, School students gained valuable insights into the applications of\u00a0<strong>space technology<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>satellite systems in everyday life<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>healthcare innovations<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>military and defence technologies<\/strong>, and emerging developments in the\u00a0<strong>education sector<\/strong>. The sessions highlighted how technological advancements are transforming society and addressing humanitarian challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Adding to the excitement was a\u00a0<strong>live CubeSat tracking demonstration<\/strong>, organised with the support of\u00a0<strong>Dhruva Space<\/strong>. The session offered participants a rare opportunity to witness real-time satellite tracking and understand the fundamentals of satellite communication and space technologies, generating immense enthusiasm among the young audience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The day also featured\u00a0<strong>AP-S Chapter Chair Meetings<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Student Design Contest activities<\/strong>, initiatives for\u00a0<strong>Ph.D. and M.Tech. scholars<\/strong>, and networking programmes under\u00a0<strong>Women in Engineering (WiE)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Young Professionals (YP)<\/strong>. The proceedings concluded with student recognition and service award ceremonies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The technical programme comprised\u00a0<strong>eight special sessions<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>four invited talks<\/strong>\u00a0by eminent experts from leading institutions in India and abroad. Discussions focused on cutting-edge research areas including\u00a0<strong>5G\/6G communications<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces (IRS)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>RF Energy Harvesting<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Biomedical Sensing and Imaging<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Advanced Antenna Systems<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Aerospace Technologies<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Addressing the gathering,\u00a0<strong>Dr. Sanjay Dubey<\/strong>, Principal of BVRIT, stated that WAMS-2026 is providing an exceptional platform for students and faculty members to engage with globally renowned researchers and industry leaders, thereby strengthening their knowledge, research capabilities, and innovation potential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">Dr. B.R.
