{"id":6405,"date":"2024-05-27T22:30:29","date_gmt":"2024-05-27T17:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/?p=6405"},"modified":"2024-05-27T22:30:29","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T17:00:29","slug":"government-bond-auction-new-gs-2029-new-goi-sgrb-2034-and-7-34-gs-2064","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/2024\/05\/27\/government-bond-auction-new-gs-2029-new-goi-sgrb-2034-and-7-34-gs-2064\/","title":{"rendered":"Government Bond Auction: New GS 2029, New GOI SGrB 2034, and 7.34% GS 2064"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Government of India (GoI) has announced the sale (issue\/ re-issue) of (i)\u00a0<strong>\u201cNew Government Security 2029<\/strong>\u201d for a notified amount of\u00a0<strong>\u20b912,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through yield based auction using\u00a0<strong>multiple<\/strong>\u00a0price method, (ii)\u00a0<strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>New GOI SGrB 2034<\/strong>\u201d for a notified amount of\u00a0<strong>\u20b96,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through yield based auction using\u00a0<strong>multiple<\/strong>\u00a0price method and (iii)\u00a0<strong>\u201c7.34%\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Government Security\u00a0<\/strong><strong>2064<\/strong>\u201d for a notified amount of\u00a0<strong>\u20b911,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through price based auction using\u00a0<strong>multiple<\/strong>\u00a0price method. GoI will have the option to retain additional subscription up to \u20b92,000 crore against each security mentioned above. The auctions will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Office, Fort, Mumbai\u00a0<strong>on May 31, 2024 (Friday).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Up to 5% of the notified amount of the sale of the securities will be allotted to eligible individuals and institutions as per the Scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Both competitive and non-competitive bids for the auction should be submitted in electronic format on the Reserve Bank of India Core Banking Solution (E-Kuber) system on\u00a0<strong>May 31<\/strong><strong>, 2024<\/strong>.
