Curated by\u00a0Shankarananda Kalakshetra<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Natyarambha<\/strong>, in collaboration with\u00a0Brhat Creative<\/strong>, and supported by the\u00a0Ministry of Culture, Government of India<\/strong>, the three-day cultural extravaganza has emerged as an iconic festival on Hyderabad\u2019s cultural calendar.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the vision behind the festival,\u00a0Ananda Shankar Jayant<\/strong>, creator of\u00a0Ramayana Kalpavrksam<\/em>, said,\u00a0\u201cOver the years, Ramayana Kalpavrksam has evolved into a much-awaited cultural confluence in Hyderabad. With its distinctive blend of pan-Indian performing arts by eminent artistes, Pravachanams by revered Gurus, thought-provoking scholarly dialogues, and a vibrant kala grama for artisans, the festival offers something for everyone\u2014while grounding us deeply in Sri Rama Chetana.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

What makes\u00a0<\/em>Ramayana Kalpavrksam<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>truly distinctive is its rare and meaningful convergence of\u00a0knowledge, art, culture, and lived spiritual practice<\/strong>\u00a0over three immersive days, an experience found in very few festivals in the country,\u00a0<\/em>Ananda Shankar Jayant<\/strong>, adds.<\/p>\n

The 2026 edition will feature two evocative Pravachanams,\u00a0\u2018Sita Rama Kalyanam\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0\u2018Hanumath Darshanam\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0by the much-revered\u00a0Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao Garu<\/strong>. Audiences can also look forward to outstanding music, dance, and storytelling performances by acclaimed and award-winning artistes from\u00a0Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhopal, and Rajasthan<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adding further depth to the festival are\u00a0insightful talks by eminent scholars<\/strong>, including university vice-chancellors, professors, writers, authors, orators, and professionals from the technology sector, who reinterpret ancient and timeless wisdom for today\u2019s world. A special highlight of this edition is a\u00a0puppetry-based Ramayana\u00a0<\/strong>by<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Little Ballet Theatre, Bhopal, being showcased in Hyderabad for the very first time.\u00a0The grand finale will witness a\u00a0fusion ensemble Carnatic 2.0<\/strong>,\u00a0Mary\u0101d\u0101 and Dharma: The Ramayana\u2019s Timeless Message.<\/p>\n
