{"id":4654,"date":"2024-04-26T21:58:20","date_gmt":"2024-04-26T16:28:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/?p=4654"},"modified":"2024-04-26T21:58:20","modified_gmt":"2024-04-26T16:28:20","slug":"sco-defence-ministers-meeting-in-kazakhstan-endorses-one-earth-one-family-one-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/2024\/04\/26\/sco-defence-ministers-meeting-in-kazakhstan-endorses-one-earth-one-family-one-future\/","title":{"rendered":"SCO Defence Ministers\u2019 Meeting in Kazakhstan endorses \u2018One Earth, One Family, One Future\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Defence Secretary Shri Giridhar Aramane participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers\u2019 meeting in Astana,\u00a0Kazakhstan\u00a0on April\u00a026,\u00a02024.\u00a0During the meeting, a protocol was signed by the Defence Ministers of all SCO Member States.\u00a0A Joint Communique was issued after the meeting, in which the SCO Defence Ministers agreed, amongst other initiatives, to developing the idea of\u00a0<em>\u2018One Earth, One Family, One Future\u2019,\u00a0<\/em>which is rooted in the ancient Indian philosophy of\u00a0<em>\u2018Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the meeting, the Defence Secretary reiterated India\u2019s steadfast commitment towards maintaining peace, stability and security in the SCO region. He\u00a0emphasised the need to adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism in all its forms for prosperity and development of the SCO Member States.\u00a0Shri Giridhar Aramane\u00a0mentioned about India\u2019s long-standing proposal of Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism\u00a0 at the United Nations.
