Hyderabad, 4th May 2025:\u00a0<\/strong>ROADWAYZ Theatre Group<\/strong>,\u00a0known for its engaging and impactful performances that both entertain and raise awareness on pressing social issues<\/em>, is back with its latest production,\u00a0“SANDHYA, Tum Kahaan Ho”<\/strong>, a thought-provoking play centred around\u00a0Alzheimer’s disease<\/strong>. Written and directed by\u00a0Capt. Ahmed SN<\/strong>, this emotionally resonant play promises to leave audiences moved and mindful.\u00a0The maiden play will be staged on\u00a016th May, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0T-HIVE, eGalleria mall, Hi-Tech City<\/strong>, subsequently, shows will be staged at various venues including dedicated shows for Army Veterans and at Senior Citizen Townships.<\/p>\n \n In India,\u00a0forgetfulness in old age is often dismissed as a natural phenomenon as part of aging<\/strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0Unfortunately, this cultural norm leads to the early symptoms of\u00a0Alzheimer\u2019s disease<\/strong>\u00a0being overlooked, leaving many elderly individuals to suffer in silence, misunderstood, misdiagnosed and often becoming an emotional and physical burden on their families.<\/p>\n \n Deeply moved by personal experiences of seeing his fellow Army colleagues struggle with Alzheimer\u2019s,\u00a0Capt. Ahmed SN<\/strong>\u00a0decided to act in his style of hosting a play. Drawing from real-life encounters during and after his service in Defence forces, he sought to break the silence around this often-ignored issue. He scripted and directed\u00a0\u201cSANDHYA, Tum Kahaan Ho\u201d<\/strong>, a poignant yet humorous theatrical piece that skilfully balances laughter with awareness. Through wit and empathy, the play delivers a powerful message educating audiences while keeping them thoroughly engaged.<\/p>\n \n Blending heartfelt storytelling with engaging performances, the play not only entertains but also\u00a0raises crucial awareness<\/strong>\u00a0about the emotional toll Alzheimer’s takes, not just on patients, but on their families who silently endure the trauma.
