PURI:-Meet Mr.Prashant kumar Sahoo , Deputy Superintendent of Police, Puri. He’s a known face in the Odisha Police Department, popular for maintaining law and order in all the places he’s posted to. But, along with the law and order, which is his duty as a Police Officer, he’s also popular for leading many Social Campaigns like Blood Donation Camps, movements against public defecation, anti-tobacco campaigns, motivating children and their family about importance of education and many more.<\/p>\n
Prashant Sahu belongs to Odisha’s Dhenkanal district, a post graduate in economics, joined police department at Aska, in 2005. Prior to that he was pursuing lectureship.<\/p>\n
After Aska, he has been posted in many different places like Hinjili, Shergada and some more. Irrespective of the places,Now he working as a city DSP in puri. Prashant sir has been maintaining law and order in a friendly way and also hosting social awareness programs.<\/p>\n

Real-life cop, seen as reel-life ‘supercop’ in film ‘ADWITYA’.An Prashant Sahoo will play the lead role in the short film “ADWITYA”.This Film awarded “International Film Festival Award”.<\/p>\n
The “ADWITYA” is based on A police officer gaining trust of the people and bringing back criminals into the main stream of society turned a ‘Crime City’ into a ‘Crime Controlling City’. This act has placed “Aska Police Station” in No.1 position in India.The movie has been shot in Odisha’s Aska .<\/p>\n
The dedication of Prashant Sir is immense. When asked about his motivation he humbly accepts that Mr.Brijesh Rai,IPS , the Ex- Superintendent of Police of Ganjam is his role model in professional life. And in personal life he considers his father to be his role model.<\/p>\n
